先媒染を施した生地の上にイチゴを乗せて圧縮させた。圧縮されたイチゴの花托と痩果の凹凸が生地に模様を描いていく。イチゴの表面のテクスチャーが描かれるだけでなく木酢酸鉄の先媒染によって痩果から生えている微かな芽が小さく黒くそこに存在する。植物の持つ静かで力強いエネルギーを潰すことによって生き生きと表現しようと試みた。
I put strawberry on the pre-mordant fabric and compressed. Compressed strawberry fruit and irregularities seeds draw patterns on the fabric. Not only the texture of the surface of the strawberry is drawn but also the faint black buds growing from the seeds appeared by the pre-mordant iron liquor. I tried to express it lively by crushing the quiet but powerful energy of the plant.
